The feel, look and character of our downtown has always played a pivotal role in our community leader’s decision making. Years ago, using the existing streetscape concept plans, sidewalks along Fisher Avenue were installed as development took place and additions to missing sections were funded. Patterned crosswalks and street trees were also part of the improvements.

This year, the Planning Commission, assisted by ARRO Consulting, have embarked on a series of public planning sessions. The sessions garnered much citizen input to enhance the existing streetscape plan, with pedestrian safety, traffic calming and beatification paving the way.
