[ARCHIVED] Two Volunteer Positions Open

Volunteers needed

Poolesville is looking for volunteers to fill two vacancies, one on the Planning Commission and another on the Board of Zoning Appeals. Applicants need to be residents of the Town for at least six (6) months and share a strong interest in keeping Poolesville the gem that it is!

The Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals are boards of citizen volunteers appointed by the Town Commissioners who make decisions and/or recommendations on planning related matters including the Comprehensive Plan, zoning issues and the Poolesville Code. Meetings and public hearings of the boards are an important public forum where public opinion and advice becomes part of the Town’s records and decision-making process.
