WATER ONLY – HYDRANT USE       $14.00 per thousand gallons

 

Residents submeter (2 days) from Townhall with a refundable $100 deposit. Once returned, the resident will be charged $14.00/1,000 for water used.

Water and Sewer Payment Policy 

The following procedure is hereby established for the collection of unpaid water and sewer bills.  

A.  All bills rendered for water and sewer service shall be due thirty (30) days from the bill date.

B. Interest will be added at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) percent per month.

C. Sixty (60) days from the bill date, if any bill is not paid in full or payment arrangements have not been made at Town Hall, the service will be disconnected

D. A cut-off notice will be mailed at least ten (10) days prior to discontinuation of service to the last known address of the owner of the property and to the tenant.

E.  If the water/sewer is disconnected, you will be charged twenty-five dollars ($25.00) to have service restored.

F. Water/sewer service can only be restored between the hours of 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM Monday-Friday. If you pay your bill after 4:00 PM, your water service will not be restored until the following day after 7:30 AM.

G. Default on payment arrangements will result in discontinuation of service. Service will not be reinstated until the bill is paid in full.

H. Returned checks will be charged a fee of $25.00, which will be added to the water/sewer account.

I.  A lien may be placed on the property for any unpaid water/sewer bills.
