NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ORDINANCE 231
Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on April 20, 2026, at 7:00 PM at Poolesville Town Hall, 19721 Beall Street, Poolesville, Maryland 20837. The purpose of the hearing is for the Commissioners of Poolesville to receive public comment on proposed Ordinance No. 231. The proposed ordinance would amend Appendix B (Zoning) of the Poolesville Code to create a new Cultural Art District (CAD) as a distinct zoning classification separate from the existing Commercial (P-Comm) zone. The amendment would establish the new district’s permitted uses, development standards, and related regulations. Copies of the full text of proposed Ordinance No. 231 are available for public inspection at the Poolesville Town Hall during regular business hours and on the Town’s website at www.poolesvillemd.gov. All interested persons are invited to attend and be heard.
