‘Destination Poolesville’ Fair to Showcase Area Businesses Poolesville, Md.’s March 21 Business Fair Offers Visibility to Local Companies; Event to Feature Vendor Expo, Document Shredding, Electronic Item Recycling
Poolesville, Md. – More than 40 local businesses will be among the exhibitors at the upcoming “Destination Poolesville,” the town’s 6th annual community business fair, on Saturday, March 21. Interested commercial vendors from around the area still have the opportunity to apply for a booth.
Visitors to the event will have the opportunity to visit each vendor’s booth and get their passport stamped to be eligible for great prizes. Vendors will have giveaways and demonstrations. Local favorites, 3 Alarm BBQ, The Soup Ladies, and Poole's Funnel Cakes will have food available to purchase! Admission to the business fair is free for attendees. Booth costs for participating businesses range from $40-90, with discounted rates available to members of the Poolesville Area Chamber of Commerce.
“We are fortunate to have so many outstanding businesses and community organizations in town and throughout the greater Poolesville area,” said Jim Brown, President of the Poolesville Town Commission. “This is a great chance for them to market and showcase their services and products to area residents and other business leaders, and for us to thank them for the role they play in making our community a great place to live, work and do business.”
Co-sponsored by the Town of Poolesville and the Poolesville Area Chamber of Commerce, “Destination Poolesville” will take place on Saturday, March 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Poolesville Baptist Church on 17550 West Willard Rd., Poolesville, Md. 20837. In addition to the business expo, visitors to the event will be able to have their documents shredded, as Main Spring, Inc. (formerly Corporate Network Services) will be sponsoring a shredding truck on-site The truck will be available during the event hours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors will also be able to drop off used electronic items, such as old computers and VCRs, in Poolesville High School parking lot at 17551 West Willard Road.
