FREE HANDS ONLY CPR & AED TRAINING.
Saturday, August 19 & Saturday, August 26, at 9 AM at Steven's Park in Poolesville.
Poolesville is the first municipality in Montgomery County to install a secure outdoor AED.
An AED is an automated external defibrillator. An AED is used when performing CPR. The quicker defibrillation is given the better the patient outcome.
Huge Thanks to Wade Yost, Poolesville Town Manager; Niles Anderegg, Poolesville Assistant Town Manager; Bill McDonald of the Poolesville Senior Club; and UMCVFD Chief Scott Graham for spearheading this effort.
The Upper Montgomery County Volunteer Fire Department is offering two Hands Only CPR/AED training sessions. The training includes how to access and use the outdoor AED.
There is no charge for the training. Advance registration is required at UMCVFD.Org/CPR or by scanning the QR code.
