The Town of Poolesville is hiring Camp Counselors for the Stevens Park Summer Recreation Program. This is a 6-week program running from June 26 to August 4, 2023. Hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Camp Counselor
The Camp Counselor under the direction of the Camp Director and/or Assistant Camp Director engages and leads campers in interactive activities including sports, games and arts and crafts, while maintaining a safe environment. Organizes and maintains equipment room. Leads groups of campers with a fun, positive and outgoing attitude while acting as a role model.
Qualifications:
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with children.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Background Check & Fingerprinting required
Salary $15.00 per hour
