The Commissioners of Poolesville will receive public comments on proposed Ordinance 211, FY2020 budget and Tax Rate. Pursuant to section 82.13 of the Poolesville Charter the Commissioners shall adopt an annual budget that provides a complete financial plan for the budget year July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020. The proposed budget includes a tax rate increase above the Constant Tax Rate of 0.1756¢. The property tax rate shall be 0.18¢ per $100.00 of the assessed real property value. The increased tax on a $500,000.00 property would be approximately $22.00 annually. Copies of this proposed ordinance are available at Town Hall.
