The Poolesville Planning Commission has finalized this round of comments to Miller and Smith (link below). The second and most recent plan containing 75 proposed homes was rejected. The Planning Commission's approach to this development is to not arbitrarily pick a density number, but to place specific requirements on the developer such as parkland dedication, green-ways, overall design criteria and forestation. The incorporation of these requirements will reduce density........To what point?... that is yet to be seen. There is a lot more work to be done on this concept plan and continued public involvement is important. The "ball" is now in Miller and Smith's court to go back to the drawing board and develop something more in line with the visions represented in the review document.
