On behalf of the Poolesville Boy Scout Troop I would like to thank the residents of Poolesville for their generosity to WUMCO. As you may know, on November 7th, the Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of Poolesville placed a bag on the door handle of homes throughout Poolesville.

This past Saturday, 21 Scouts, with the support of 19 adults canvassed all of Poolesville to collect the bags containing food.

As a result of the residents' donations and the hard work by the scouts, parents and leaders, WUMCO received 5,207 pounds of food.
