The Town of Poolesville is hiring Camp Counselors for the Stevens Park Summer Recreation Program. This is a 6-week program running from June 24 to August 2, 2024. Hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Camp Counselor
The Camp Counselor, under the direction of the Camp Director and/or Assistant Camp Director, engages and leads campers in interactive activities, including sports, games, and arts and crafts, while maintaining a safe environment. The counselor organizes and maintains the equipment room. The counselor leads groups of campers with a fun, positive, and outgoing attitude while acting as a role model.
Qualifications:
Must be 16 years of age or older.
Must be able to effectively communicate with children.
CPR/First Aid certification preferred
Background Check required
Salary $15.00 per hour
