Poolesville is looking for volunteers to fill one Board of Zoning Appeals Member position. Applicants need to be residents of the Town for at least six (6) months and share a strong interest in keeping Poolesville the gem that it is! These applicants are interviewed by the Commissioners.
The Board of Zoning Appeals is a board of citizen volunteers appointed by the Town Commissioners who make decisions and/or recommendations on planning related matters including zoning issues and the Poolesville Code. Public hearings of the boards are an important public forum where public opinion and advice becomes part of the Town’s records and decision-making process.
