Construction at Well 3

Next week a Town contractor will begin work on the PFAS remediation project at Well 3 (Wooton Ave).  This work includes pouring concrete. This project will result in a little more traffic in and around Well 3, but the contractor will work to minimize the impact of this project.  We regret any inconvenience this may cause, and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Town Hall at 301-428-8927.

Wellness Wednesday-Stress Management & Mindfulness

Join The Town of Poolesville and WUMCO Help, Inc. in a series of WELLNESS WEDNESDAY workshops to promote Healthy Living and prevent disease. Each month a different topic on healthy lifestyles will be offered. Take charge of your health in 2023.

Burnout and mental health issues are a threat to all. Theatre, movement, and visual art, as well as simply being creative and laughing, can become tools that can help heal and prevent the sluggishness that comes from stress. Take away a set of exercises you can do for yourself and with your children every day to reinvigorate your joy and energize your mind.

Participants in this workshop will learn strategies they can use for themselves, their families, and their children to process emotions and express their ideas, reconnect with inspiration, and jump-start their creativity through various reflective and expressive activities.
