There could be a change to our trash service provider in the near future. The Town's current refuse service contract with Unity Disposal expires on June 30, 2017. Many residents have probably noticed that Bates Trucking does the actual collections, as they are owned by the same entity. For this and other reasons, a request for proposals has been advertised and the bid opening is scheduled for May 17, 2017.

One of the attractive items in the 2012 Unity proposal besides the cost was single stream recycling. As we prepare to evaluate the bids later in May, this will be an important factor, or at least it was with the residents in the past.
 
The Town Commissioners want to hear residents concerns, likes and dislikes so that we can better serve the Town.
