Welcome to the Town of Poolesville. The following resources are provided to help make your transition to Poolesville a little easier.

Town Services

Town staff are here for you. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions. When in doubt, call Town Hall at 301-428-8927. Town Hall is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Water


Water and sewer services are provided by the Town’s own water and sewer system. The municipal water system is serviced by eight wells. The water and sewer bills are issued quarterly. Contact the Town Hall at 301-428-8927 to get your water turned on and setup your account.

Trash, Recycling, Yard Waste & Household Hazardous Waste


Town Permits


Building permits, park use permits, and parade / race permits are available at Town Hall or online.

Snow Removal

Homeowners are responsible for clearing sidewalks in front of their homes within 24 hours from the time the precipitation ceases.

Parks & Recreation

The Town of Poolesville currently owns and maintains 8 parks. Information about each park is available on the town website. A Montgomery County swimming pool facility is also located within town limits.
