Plans to attend this one.
Heroin affects one person, one family, one community at a time. When we ignore the pain and experience of others, it comes to our neighborhoods, our homes and our hearts. There is no human exempt from this tragic epidemic. It is touching our communities in such a profound way that the Governor declared a state of emergency as 6 young people per day are dying in Maryland from Heroin and Opioids. Now with this meeting, we want to reach every parent, guardian, family member and friend who are truly able to influence those who have fallen victim to these drugs. We are going to spend the evening with videos, speakers and resources available to help. It is not going to be an easy evening, we are going to be direct and honest.
